Party Statement: On Imperialist Escalation In The Middle East
Plaid Gomiwnyddol Cymru (the Communist Party of Wales) condemns the imperialist aggression which stems from the United States of America, and the US-backed Zionist entity ‘israel’. In particular, we condemn the military strikes conducted by the American military, a known enemy to the world, as they attacked Iran. These attacks and escalations will not stop now. They recalled parliament, which is on a break for Easter, and passed emergency legislation to take this action. This is after Jingje, the company who owns British Steel, began the process of closing it down. This is a welcome move for the 3000 workers at the site, their friends, family and community.
