1: A Green Industrial Revolution

We will never be independent as long as we rely on the capitalist market to supply what we need. Only through socialism can Wales be free of this control, and only through socialism can we be green.

2: Advance Cymraeg

The Welsh language was suppressed by capitalism, not simply by the British or English. The only way to end this suppression is through the ending of capitalism, not through blood and soil nationalism.

3: Agriculture

The global market insists that we must only ever produce one agricultural product to keep us dependent on the market. Only socialism will end this dependency, create a self-sustainable Wales and give land to all.

4: The Right To Roam

The working class have the right to nature, but right now the land on our doorsteps are hoarded by a small number of landowners. Through socialism, we will grant everyone the right to enjoy the land around them. Through socialism, we will restore our woodlands and end the capitalist destruction of our land.

5: The Right To Enjoy Life

We are not meant to struggle or starve – we have the right to live to our fullest potential. Capitalism steals that right from us and makes us buy it back through wage slavery – socialism will give you that right back.

6: An Internationalist, Working Class Patriotism

Wales is a nation steeped in working class history – how many people have fought under the red flag of the workers – a flag first raised in Wales? Millions, if not billions. Our patriotism isn’t to a king, nor to a bourgeois republic, but to the international working classes, workers who were martyred in Merthyr Tydfil & Newport fighting for democracy and working class sovereignty. We have an international duty – we will be an ally to those oppressed under colonialism, to those facing persecution, to everyone struggling for national liberation.

7: An Anti-Imperialist Wales

We are lucky – we are able to strike a blow from within the imperial core, and break a link of imperialism – we will destroy the British state and fight for the liberation of all.

8: A Wales For All

Our vision for Wales is one where the working class is entirely liberated, we fight for women, for people of colour, for the LGBTQ+, for disabled people, to end all oppression.

9: Environmentalism

Wales, once the furnace of the British Empire, can see the rot and ruin from capitalism everywhere. High above our towns, hundreds of tonnes of coal waste sit, ready to slip down and engulf us again – this is all capitalism has left us, the threat of Aberfan.

10: Restore our communities

Our communities are dying, industrial towns become deserted or commuter belts for Welsh and English cities, for us to work meaningless jobs in. We will rebuild our economy around these towns, provide jobs, shops, a vibrant day and nightlife – we will become a hub of culture.
